If you want to know American whiskey, you’ve got to know the mid-Atlantic region! It was here, in Pennsylvania and Maryland that whiskey makers laid the groundwork for American whiskey and sparked a national rebellion. This, often overlooked, area holds an important role for American Whiskey production. There are four established regions along the Official Whiskey Rebellion Trail: The Greater Pittsburgh Region, Central PA, Greater Philadelphia, Greater DC & Baltimore.
In these classes led by Spirits Expert Belinda Alvarez, we will explore these regions as we sample their whiskeys and learn about the history and production methods of each.
